Blackburn area guide

Blackburn is a large town in Lancashire and lies to the north of the West Pennine Moors on the southern edge of the Ribble Valley. The town neighbours Darwen, with which it forms the unitary authority of Blackburn with Darwen. 

As a former mill town it was a prosperous and industrialised town during the industrial revolution with a large production of textiles. In late 2016 more than 500,000 votes were cast in the third annual Great British High Street Awards and Blackburn scored well enough to take home the crown, beating 26 other finalists to be named Britain’s best high street.

The Blackburn office is situated in the town centre on King William Street and we have been an established estate agent in the town for many years, with dedicated members of staff on hand to meet the level of demand for property in Blackburn and wider areas.
