SITUATION & LOCATION
If travelling from the Clitheroe/Ribble Valley direction proceed to Chatburn village, through to Downham and over Downham Moor to Barley village. In the centre of the village turn left by the visitor centre towards Roughlee and on entering the village follow the stream on the right hand side turning first right by the Bay Horse Inn and the car park to the property lies on the right hand side.
If travelling from the Nelson/Colne direction travel to Barrowford following the directions to Roughlee and just before entering the village the property lies on the left hand side.
There is an excellent catchment area for visitors to the fishery from both the Ribble and Hodder Valleys and the Forest of Pendle being in a rural location but close to good access routes to adjoining East Lancashire towns including Nelson, Colne, Burnley, Clitheroe, Accrington and Blackburn as well as the M65 motorway. The area is rural in nature and lies in one of the most picturesque parts of the Pendle Forest with excellent walking facilities nearby including the renowned Pendle Hill.
